Tiffaney J. Williams

Disability Advocate, Mindfulness Educator, Artist, & Technology Professional

Tiffaney Williams brings a distinctive perspective to Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training
Center through her work in scholarship, technology, mindfulness education, and disability advocacy. As a
member of the Board of Directors, she is dedicated to advancing opportunities for neurodiverse
individuals through accessible education, inclusive community building, and person-centered approaches
that recognize the strengths and potential of every individual.

Her commitment to Spectrum Tech's mission is informed not only by her professional experience, but also
by her lived experience as a disabled and neurodivergent individual. She believes that effective advocacy
requires both professional expertise and the voices of those with firsthand experience navigating
disability, neurodivergence, and systems of support.

Scholarship, Education & the Arts

Tiffaney holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Art History and is an independent scholar whose
research and publications contribute to the study and preservation of cultural heritage. Her academic work
reflects a lifelong dedication to learning, critical inquiry, and making knowledge accessible to broader
communities.

She is also a classically trained musician with lifelong experience in the study and performance of music.
Her appreciation for the arts has shaped her understanding of creativity, discipline, self-expression, and
the many ways individuals learn, communicate, and engage with the world around them.
Through both her scholarly and artistic pursuits, Tiffaney advocates for educational environments that
honor diverse talents, learning styles, and forms of expression.

Mindfulness, Social Justice & Holistic Wellness

Tiffaney is a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator through the Copper Beech Institute and a Registered Yoga
Teacher (RYT-200). She is currently pursuing advanced studies in Yoga Therapy through the Kripalu
Center for Yoga & Health's RYT-1000 program.

Her mindfulness training emphasized the relationship between contemplative practice, social justice,
equity, and compassionate leadership. This foundation strengthened her understanding of how access,
inclusion, and systemic barriers can influence individual well-being and opportunity.

She is particularly interested in the ways mindfulness, yoga, and other evidence-informed wellness
practices can support emotional regulation, resilience, self-awareness, and nervous system health. Her
work reflects a belief that wellness should be accessible to all individuals and that supportive practices
can play an important role in helping people thrive in educational, vocational, and community settings.

Disability Advocacy & Neurodiversity

As a person living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD), Tiffaney brings valuable lived experience to Spectrum Tech's mission. Her experiences
navigating disability, chronic health challenges, and neurodivergence have shaped her passion for
accessibility, self-advocacy, and inclusive community development.

She recognizes that many discussions surrounding disability and neurodiversity are informed primarily by
clinical or educational perspectives. While those perspectives are essential, she believes that lived
experience also plays a critical role in shaping programs, policies, and communities that genuinely meet
people's needs.

Tiffaney maintains a strong interest in emerging research exploring the connections among connective
tissue disorders, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and neurodevelopmental conditions. She is
passionate about helping bridge the gap between research, advocacy, and practical support while

promoting greater understanding of the diverse experiences within the disability and neurodivergent
communities.

Her advocacy is grounded in the belief that accessibility benefits everyone and that inclusion begins by
recognizing the value, dignity, and contributions of every individual.

Technology, Innovation & Accessibility

Tiffaney is a founding member of Williams Innovative Technology, where she contributes to technology-
driven solutions and innovative approaches to problem-solving. She is particularly interested in the ways

technology can increase accessibility, expand educational opportunities, and support greater independence
for neurodiverse and disabled individuals.

In support of Spectrum Tech's mission, Tiffaney applies her technology expertise to strengthen the
organization's digital presence and community outreach efforts. She assists with website development,
social media strategy, digital communications, and other technology initiatives that help connect
individuals, families, educators, and community partners with Spectrum Tech's programs and resources.
By combining technical knowledge with an understanding of accessibility and inclusive design, she helps
ensure that the organization's online presence reflects its commitment to serving neurodiverse individuals
and their families.

Board Leadership & Mission Support

As a member of the Spectrum Tech Board of Directors, Tiffaney supports initiatives related to disability
advocacy, accessibility, mindfulness and wellness education, and technology integration. She is
committed to helping create opportunities that empower neurodiverse individuals to learn, work, build
meaningful relationships, and participate fully in their communities.

Her combined expertise in scholarship, wellness, technology, and advocacy strengthens Spectrum Tech's
mission to create a more inclusive future where neurodiverse individuals are recognized for their talents,
supported in their goals, and empowered to succeed on their own terms.

Through her leadership and service, Tiffaney continues to champion accessibility, lifelong learning, self-
determination, and meaningful opportunities for all members of the neurodiverse community.
