Be Part of a Movement That’s Changing the Future for Autistic Individuals

Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center is building something bold — a nation‑first ecosystem designed for autistic and neurodivergent individuals to thrive in education, communication, vocational training, and independent living. We are innovators, system‑shakers, and changemakers. If you want to help build a foundation where none existed before, we invite you to join us.

We are currently seeking new Board Members who are passionate about neurodiversity, ethical autism support, and community transformation. No prior board experience is required — just commitment, integrity, and a willingness to take action.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome individuals who are:

  • Neurodivergent themselves

  • Parents or family members of autistic individuals

  • Professionals who have worked with autistic people

  • Advocates for disability rights, trauma‑informed care, or inclusive education

  • Self‑starters who enjoy building systems, programs, and foundations from the ground up

  • Creators, innovators, and problem‑solvers who want to help reshape the future

What Board Members Do

Spectrum Tech does not require a traditional nonprofit “buy‑in.” Instead, we follow a give‑or‑get philosophy (general, flexible, and supportive).

Board members help strengthen our mission through:

  • Fundraising support

  • Sponsorship outreach

  • Securing baskets, donations, or event contributions

  • Community connections and networking

  • Legal, accounting, or compliance insight

  • Marketing, communications, or social media support

  • In‑kind professional contributions

  • Helping us expand our reach, visibility, and impact

Every board member contributes in the way that aligns with their strengths, availability, and expertise.

Why Join Us

Because Spectrum Tech is not just a nonprofit — it is a movement.

We are:

  • Building a new model for autistic education, communication, and vocational training

  • Rejecting outdated systems that have harmed autistic individuals for decades

  • Creating a trauma‑informed, neuroaffirming ecosystem grounded in dignity and autonomy

  • Designing programs that presume competence and honor each learner’s unique strengths

  • Developing a village and training center unlike anything in the country

If you want to be part of a team that is taking on the system, creating change, and building a future where autistic individuals rise to their fullest potential — this is your place.  Email our Founder with your interest and qualifications  Lisa@spectrumtechtradeschool.com
