Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center Celebrates Selection as a Stop & Shop Community Bag Program Beneficiary

Howell, NJ – Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of January.

The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center was selected as the January 2024 beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Stop & Shop located at 505 Richmond Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach NJ.   Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during January, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“Being chosen as a recipient of this program is a great opportunity to get the word out about our mission to change the entire Autism Services System to a strength-based, trauma-informed, whole-person model,” said Lisa Sosnowski, Founder & CEO of Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center. “Donations from this program will go directly toward our proof-of-concept weekend program that will provide marketable vocational training for autistic individuals and combat the statistics that ninety percent of autistic adults are unemployed or underemployed, and fifty percent have never held a paying job.”

Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training center is a nonprofit based in Howell, New Jersey.   Founded in 2019, Spectrum Tech Trade School, Village, and Training Center has brought awareness to the failure of the current Autism Services System through podcasts, workshops, networking, and community outreach.
