In fact, it is more than out of this world news, it is out of this universe. Congratulations to our distinguished board member Ken Farrington for stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his work on the upcoming series She-Hulk: Attorney at law due to premier in a couple of days on August 18th on Disney+. The show stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk, alongside Ginger Gonzaga, Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Wong, and Charlie Cox.
She-Hulk a.k.a Jennifer Walters, first appeared in Marvel Comics in The Savage She-Hulk #1 (February 1980) created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. Walters is a lawyer who, receives an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner. This life-saving procedure comes with the side-effect of a milder version of his Hulk condition which causes her to become a large green-hued version of herself, but unlike her cousin, she largely retains the majority of her intelligence and emotional control. She is, however; still susceptible to outbursts of anger and becomes much stronger when enraged. In later series, her transformation is permanent. She-Hulk has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, the Defenders, Fantastic Force and S.H.I.E.L.D. She utilizes her skills to serve as legal counsel to various superheroes and other metahumans.
