We are happy to announce Featured Speaker - Disability Specialist- Andrew Arboe will be speaking at our Wine Tasting and Global Autistic Art Festival on October 15th, 2023, from 1pm -4 pm Eastern Time. Andrew is an autistic self-advocate and consultant with over five-years of professional speaking and consulting experience. His varied and extensive experience includes his current positions as a teaching assistant with FOCUS Center for Autism, a consultant/training associate and ECHO member with Anderson Center for Autism, a member of the Speaker Bureau at AANE, and consultant for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) He holds an autism certificate with IBCCES and a degree as a disability specialist from Manchester Community College. His past work includes Autism Families Connecticut, Autism Services & Resource Connecticut, Planning Across the Spectrum, The Next Street, and Plainville Community Schools. He is the former founder of Driving with Autism and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology. Join us in-person at Hopewell Valley Vineyards in Pennington, New Jersey or virtually online to listen to him and other autistic speakers. We are very grateful to be able to bring this seasoned speaker to our event.
The in-person event includes a cocktail reception where you can sip finely handcrafted wines while viewing autistic art. Types of art include photography, paintings, and graphic arts from local autistic artists. Have a chance to purchase art on canvas, photography prints, hand-painted glassware, ornaments, and hand-painted jewelry. Play games and participate in our tricky tray. Both types of tickets get you access to speakers, art viewing, donate to vote for your favorite artists (percentage of proceeds to the winner and runners up), and silent auction items such as a signed album from legendary guitarist Ace Frehley, Taylor Swift memorabilia, a VIP tour of Yankee Stadium, and once-in-a-lifetime trips.
